International Collaboration | We collaborate internationally; every permanent member of staff has co-authored outputs with colleagues outside the UK, including leading international institutions such as MIT, Harvard & Princeton, and we lead international research programmes.

Partnership | The partnership with the Heilbronn Institute provides a significant mechanism for building research collaborations and networks. Our partnership with the Heilbronn Institute remains our most significant and largest-scale collaboration.  Established in 2005 and renewed in 2014, the Heilbronn Institute has evolved into an internationally-renowned institute supporting a broad range of research in mathematical sciences and Bristol University is its largest partner.

The creation of new partnerships in data science with the Jean Golding Institute (JGI) and the Alan Turing Institute (ATI), including theme leadership, and the establishment of a new EPSRC Prosperity Partnership with Google (£5M) and key leadership roles in the national Quantum Computing and Simulation Hub (£24M).
